1) Do you provide bed linen / towels?

Yes, we provide all bed linen, bath towels and tea / hand towels. Please bring your own towels to take to the beach or swimming pool.

2) Do you provide High chairs / Cots ?

Yes, we will happily provide high chairs, cots, and stair gates on request. Please let us know in advance of arrival and we can have everything ready for you in your cottage. We also provide a selection of children’s plastic plates, cups and cutlery.

3) Are there shops / pubs / restaurants within walking distance?

Yes, Lidl and Co-op are within a 5-minute walk from Hungate, in addition to many shops and restaurants on the Market Place. Pickering has many pubs, and excellent cafes and restaurants to choose from, all within easy walking distance.

4) Can we arrange for a supermarket delivery to arrive?

Yes, Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s all deliver to Hungate. We ask that deliveries taking place on Saturdays are scheduled for after 5pm when all guests have arrived.

5) Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have parking on site. The arrangements differ for each cottage.

Hungate Cottage has parking for four cars in its own parking area north of the cottage.
Lockton and Levisham have parking for two cars each, one on the drive outside and one inside a garage.
Bransdale has parking for one car on the drive outside.
Ellerbeck, The Carrs, Danbydale, Farndale, have parking for one car in our main car park.
Glaisdale, Saltersgate and Rosedale have parking for two cars in our main car park.
Additional parking is available on Recreation Road, outside the entrance to Hungate.

6) Can you help with special anniversaries/ birthdays?

Yes, we are very happy to help! Please contact Rachel well in advance, to discuss your requirements.

7) Do you have WIFI?

Yes, we have a reliable high speed fibre wifi system installed.

8) Do you have secure bicycle storage on site?

Yes, we do have bike storage on site, but it helps if you could let us know in advance how many bikes you have so we can plan where to put them.
