What our guests say about Glaisdale...

This is our second visit and we have enjoyed both the cottage and all that’s on offer in the local area. Particular highlights have included Eden Camp, Playdale Farm, the beach at Sandsend, and the Hole of Horcum walk. The Tea Shop and the Cedar Barn were both very good and the White Swan was excellent for a child free meal!

Been here several times especially at Christmas and New Year. Really good accommodation and places to go. This time we explored Sutton Bank, Fountains Abbey, York, Rievaulx Abbey and Nunnington Hall. Helmsley to Riveaulx Abbey is a lovely walk.

Cottage exceeded our expectations - children loved the garden and play area, adults apprecated the on site parking, short walk to town and short drive to plenty of places to visit.  Certainly will be back again.  NYMR train ride a walk away took us for a day in Whitby.   August 2019
Had an excellent stay in this very comforable cottage, despite very wet weather.  It was great to be able to rent Rosedale also for extended family.  Despite the time of year, we still found plenty to do.  February 2020
