Yes, there is car parking available for all cottages for up to 2 cars (Hungate Garden Cottage, 4), some directly outside the cottage, some in our main car park. See individual cottage pages for more information on parking.
There are amply EV chargers in the nearby Ropery Carpark which is in easy walking distance of Hungate.
Yes, we are very happy to welcome dogs in 6 of our cottages – Levisham, Lockton, Bransdale, Saltersgate, The Carrs, and Hungate Garden Cottage. When you add your pet to your booking, you will receive a Doggy Welcome Pack upon arrival including a bowl, a dog towel, a selection of treats and a dog mat to be used during your stay.
Yes we have a secure bicycle storage shed. Please let us know when you place your booking or in advance of arrival and we will reserve a place for you and provide you with a code for the combination lock.
Yes, absolutely, but we kindly request that you schedule delivery no earlier than 5pm on arrival day to keep the driveway clear while other guests are arriving. Sainsburys, Tescos, Morrisons and Asda all deliver to Hungate.
Yes, each cottage has outdoor seating. Some cottages have private enclosed gardens, some have seating areas in shared courtyards. See the individual cottage pages for more information on each cottage.
Yes, we have barbecues available for use during summer months.
Yes, you can request a baby cot and/or high chair when you make your booking. We also provide bed guards upon request and stair gates in every cottage. Please note that we do not provide bedding for cots.
All linen and bedding (except for baby cots), towels, tea towels, and dishwasher tablets/cleaning products are provided. A starter pack of tea bags, instant coffee, ground coffee, milk and biscuits, and toilet rolls is provided upon arrival. Kindling/fire lighters provided for your first fire, in addition to one complimentary bucket of logs per day.
Lidl and Co-op are both within 5 minutes walk of Hungate. Turn left out of our black gate and walk along Hungate to the traffic light. Lidl is on your left, and Co-op is beyond the car park on your right.
