- Ryedale Folk Museum – opening March 20th, this open air museum in Hutton le Hole is home to a fascinating collection of heritage buildings which tell the story of life on the North Yorkshire Moors across 4000 years. Dog friendly.
- Eden Camp Modern History Museum – opening April 3rd, a short 10 minute drive from Hungate, occupying the site of a WWII prisoner of war camp, this museum preserves the history, the heritage and the personal stories of those who experienced WWII. Dog friendly.
- FlamingoLand – fully opens from March 25th, a short 10 minute drive from Hungate – along with the award winning zoo, the full park of thrilling rides, plus a selection of cafes and restaurants make this a great family day out.
